The studio

One person,
one build at a time.

QLabX is Anthoney Quintanilla. I build websites for businesses that have something specific worth showing and no obvious way to show it — a gait scan, a movement assessment, four seasons on a mountain, a Thursday night table, a defence practice that cannot publish an unverified claim.

There is no team, no account manager, and no queue of twelve projects. One build runs at a time, from the first read of your material to the last accessibility check.

How it runs

Five stages, in that order.

01Dossier 02Register 03Direction 04Build 05Verify

01 — Dossier

Read everything

Your current site, your photos, your reviews, what you say on the phone. Verified facts get separated from things someone hopes are true. Nothing invented: no testimonials, no numbers, no credentials.

02 — Register

One sentence

Who you serve, and what you do that the place down the road doesn't. How the site should feel falls out of that. A clinic that treats athletes and a family practice want different things from a page, even when the service list looks the same.

03 — Direction

Chosen, not defaulted

Type, palette, motion and drawn graphics picked from that sentence — diagrams, maps, line art, shaders, whatever the subject actually needs. You see it rendered, not described.

04 — Build

Every page

The whole site, with navigation, forms, error and success states, and a mobile layout composed for the phone. Built maximal so there is something to cut, with a panel for cutting it.

05 — Verify

Then prove it

Contrast, keyboard access, reduced motion, real devices, direct entry to every route. Several builds ship with harnesses that fail the build rather than letting a visitor find the problem.

What you end up with

Yours, on your own hosting.

  • The full source, in a repository you own.
  • Static hosting, which at your traffic sits inside a free tier.
  • No monthly platform fee holding your pages hostage.
  • A verification sheet listing anything I could not confirm, so you can confirm it or cut it.
  • The effects panel, so the motion can be turned down later without a rebuild.

Commission

Tell me what you do
that nobody else does.

That sentence is the whole brief. Everything else I can find out.
